{"id":73,"date":"2021-04-12T10:28:28","date_gmt":"2021-04-12T13:28:28","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.sds2021.ufpr.br\/?page_id=73"},"modified":"2021-09-10T16:56:36","modified_gmt":"2021-09-10T19:56:36","slug":"presentation","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"http:\/\/www.sds2021.ufpr.br\/?page_id=73","title":{"rendered":"About SDS"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"has-nv-text-dark-bg-color has-text-color has-background has-medium-font-size\" style=\"background-color:#3ee09d\"><span style=\"color:#3e3e3f\" class=\"has-inline-color\">The <strong>SDS2021<\/strong> (VIII Simp\u00f3sio de Design Sustent\u00e1vel + Sustainable Design Symposium) is one of the main events in the field of Design for Sustainability in South America. <br><br>The event will be held between <strong>1st and 3rd December 2021<\/strong>, and it is endorsed by the <\/span><a href=\"http:\/\/www.lens-international.org\" data-type=\"URL\" data-id=\"http:\/\/www.lens-international.org\"><span class=\"has-inline-color has-nv-site-bg-color\">Brazilian Learning Network on Sustainability (LeNS Brazil)<\/span><\/a><span style=\"color:#3e3e3f\" class=\"has-inline-color\"> and <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.desisnetwork.org\" data-type=\"URL\" data-id=\"https:\/\/www.desisnetwork.org\"><span class=\"has-inline-color has-nv-site-bg-color\">DESIS Network (Design for Social Innovation and Sustainability Network)<\/span><\/a><span class=\"has-inline-color has-nv-dark-bg-color\">.<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>On this edition, the event will be carried out entirely on digital format. That carries the opportunity of a wider geographic outreach. The target audience of SDS2021 are professionals, researchers, students and professionals from Design and related fields, as well as those working on the development of sustainable solutions in industry, NGOs and the government. During the three days of the event, we will have a wide range of activities aimed at promoting the sharing and debate of ideas and practices, including round tables, mini-courses, technical sessions, edition the event returns to its birthplace. Indeed, its first edition was organized by the <strong>Federal University of Paran\u00e1 (UFPR) <\/strong>and took place in Curitiba- PR in 2007.
